    Officials Needed

If you had the chance to have the best seat in the stadium would you jump at it no matter how much it cost?  How about if that same spot did not cost anything at all?  What if the ticket to the best spot only took a couple hours of your time to take 2 classes lasting 3hrs total, take an short, online, open book test in the comfort of your house, and purchase a white shirt and blue shorts, would you still want that ticket?

NWAL is offering you the ticket to the best spots at a swim meet.  They will train you free of charge.  I will give you a rule book, if not give at the class, to help you pass your short, online, open book test.  When your badge comes in you will have the best spot at all the meets.

Yes, you may make people (parents, coaches, and maybe even the swimmers) mad by pointing out a swimmers defaults.  This only makes the swimmers and coaches better.

Yes, you may not be able to yell while on the inside of the flags during the closest races during the meet, but you will have the best spot to see the winning touch.

Yes, you have to wear a uniform and badge (your ticket for the best spots at the meet).  At least this year they are allowing white shirts with navy blue shorts.  You do not have to have a shirt with the NWAL logo on it, it just has to be white.

Will you complete your service hours and receive your volunteer deposit back? YES

See attached schedule of training during April.  Training and the test have to be completed by May 7, 2011.  The closest training is at the Deerfield Subdivision for Stroke and Trun Officials.
