    Today's Practice

    Dear Piranhas,

Due to the cold weather the swimmers will not get in the water, but will do dry land exercises instead.  Please make sure they are wearing shirt shorts ( or jogging pants), socks and shoes.  The dry land exercises will help strengthen up the muscles needed for swimming and will be age appropriate.

Remember that during the Spring and Summer in Houston the weather can change any minute so the swimmers need to be prepared for any type of practice.

Here is our policy if you did not receive a copy yesterday about increment weather:

    Increment Weather Policy
Lighting and Thunder – no practice, but call, check website, or e-mails to make sure. Just because it is lighting and thundering in your area does not mean that it is close to the pool.
Raining – depending on temp and strength of rain will determine whether or not the kids will be swimming. If the coaches can see the bottom of the pool the kids will be swimming. If it is raining hard enough to not see the bottom they could move under cover and do dry land exercises.
Please start bringing up to practice the following: Have the swimmers wear their suits and bring with them shirt, shorts, socks and shoes for the possibility of dry land at practices.
