Dear Piranhas,

It is that time of the year again. Swim team registrations start this Saturday, March 29th, 2014. You will have two ways to registar through the website www.gcst.swim-team.us.
                1. In person at the Glencairn Civic Center between 10 AM and 2 PM.
                2. At home online through April 30th.

All registrations whether returning or new swimmers are registering online this year.  

*****You will be required to have your own e-mail account. If you shared e-mail accounts with another family that will have to change. Please come up to the registration so we can change you e-mail before you register. We do not care who the e-mail account is registered to in your family, ie parent or child, it just needs to be a family e-mail that will be checked often. Everything on the site will be password protected and you will use your e-mail address to log in.*****

The fees this year are as follows:

Returning Swimmers
1st Swimmer - $75
2nd Swimmer - $50
3rd Swimmer - $40
4th+ Swimmer - $25 each

All New Swimmers regardless of age $60. If a swimmer has proof that they have participated in a year round swim team then the coaches will test them to see if they can be moved to the team  without going through our clinic. When the swimmers move to the team after being tested they will then owe the Volunteer Deposit and Concessions fee only if they have clinic swimmers.

Volunteer Fees - $75 per family - Will be given back at the Team party at the end of the season when the family has completed 25 volunteer hours to the team. A maximum of 10 hours can be done through donations for food and Community service projects (power washing pool decks and Breakfast with Santa). A minimum of 15 hours have to be completed at swim meets or team functions during the season (Time Trials, Swim-a-Cross, ect).  
             We are always looking for Officials. We will have a schedule for the classes needed to be taken and more information at registration. This is the easiest way to fulfill your volunteer hours. 

**New Fee** Concession Fee - $25 per family. This is to help cover the cost of certain more expensive items at concessions and with supplies needed for the team party. We will still be offering some donations on items for concessions to go towards Volunteer hours.

We will only be excepting cash or checks (payable to Glencairn Swim Team or GST). No credit cards will be excepted. You may pay in installments and all payments have to be paid by the following dates or your swimmer(s) will not receive shirt or participate in meets till it is paid.

         Returning Families: all payments need to be paid in full by May 8, 2014
         New Families with Clinic swimmers: full payment of clinic is due by April 17th. When your swimmer(s) make the team Volunteer Deposits and Concessions Fee will need to be paid in full by May 15th.

Swim schedules will be handed out at registrations. The calendar is already on line for most of the events. Practices will start April 14th. An e-mail will be sent out as to what your specific practice will be on Sunday, April 13th and will be posted on the website as well.
