Hey Piranhas,

First off I would just like to say that everyone who came out to swim and parents who volunteered, thank you. The Coaches were not expecting such huge time drops today from all the swimmers with the weather we had this week as well as its only been one week since time trials. We are truly excited to see such progress and hope that we will continue to see good progress both in practice and at future meets.

Now this brings me to my concerns and complaints. We have heard a lot of complaints after the meet about almost anything and everything. The Coaches will have a meeting with the kids to go over the concerns and complaints that need to be address. The main one is Respect, remember if any unsportsmanlike conduct happens the meet Referee can remove you from the meet. We need to RESPECT ALL PARENTS, especially those that volunteer, as well as ALL SWIMMERS whether younger or older. If we continue to have any issues like what was told to the coaches again at any meet, we as Coaches will remove any swimmer from relays who are not being respectful or from the rest of the meet that is left. All electronics need to stay put away while at meets as well as soccer or football. Swimmers need to focus on cheering for fellow swimmers not just their favorites or their own races. We are a team and this is a team effort.

Swimmers please understand that the Coaches are not going to yell at you, but we will be going over these issues at practice because we need to set examples especially at home meets of how to act. I do not want parents coming up to Parker or myself with these kinds of complaints again

Again the Swimmers did great job when swimming the Coaches are excited to see all the drop times and even more now qualified for the end of the year invitational.
