Good Morning Piranhas,

CLINIC:

This is the last week for Clinic.  The swimmers will be tested on Friday.  It will be the coaches decision if the swimmer can continue with the team next week.  The test will be to see if they can swim the length of the pool on their own.  10 and Unders will swim a 25 meter freestyle.  They will be able to stop and hold on the the lane line if needed by should try not to pull on the lane line.  11 - 18 year olds will need to swim a 50 meter; that is starting on one end of the pool going to the other and then back.  They will not be able to touch the bottom of the pool.  If they need to stop they can hold onto the lane line.  We will inform you after the test if your swimmer will continue next week.

Payment:

The last day to make payments for the team registration is on Wednesday, April 27th.  

Rain Policy:

There is a good chance that it might rain this afternoon-evening.  I wanted to remind returning families and inform new families what our policy is for rainy weather.

Light rain no Thunder or Lightning - If the coaches can see the bottom of the pool we will continue with practice.  

Heavy rain with or without Thunder or Lightning  - We will not get in the water.  We may have dryland practice inside the community center.  I still need to get that approved by the HOA with the new building.  We may need to only cancel one or all of practice or start practices a little later depending on the severity of the weather.  We have to stay out of the pool for 30 min when we see lightning or hear thunder.
